Is your mind resisting the law of attraction? October 30, 2006

Many people who are first introduced to the law of attraction may find the idea to be quite uplifting at first. Then we settle back into our daily rituals and the newness of the idea falls to the way side. For many people our first instinct is to think of the law of attraction not unlike we think of any other spiritual concept. Maybe it’s true but is it provable we think. Is there evidence supporting the claims that we are in fact in control of our reality?
I’d like to point to an experiment done by Jacobo Grinberg-Zylberbaum and his collaborators. Although this experiment does not directly correlate with the law of attraction it does however point to direct evidence of a singular consciousness which we all share. In the experiment two subjects are placed in a room together and allowed to interact with each other for a period of thirty to forty-five minutes. Each subject is then placed inside separate Faraday cages at a distance so that the subjects have no contact with each other. Each subject is connected to an EEG machine to measure brain patterns. At this point, one test subject is then presented with an external stimulus, normally something like a high speed flashing light. When one test subject is stimulated, the other test subject reveals similar brain patterns through the EEG machine.
Not only does one test subject transfer a stimulus from one to the other but this correlation happens at the same time. So in effect, the transfer is occurring faster than the speed of light in the transcendent state outside of space and time. This is known as a nonlocal transfer. It is considered nonlocal because it happens at the quantum level outside of space time.
Other tests involving photons of light have been conducted with similar results. When electrons are smashed together, two photons are sent in opposite directions (These photons are in essence twins). Using a polarization box on one side changes the polarity of one photon and the twin photon exhibits the exact polarity change the instant the first photon encounters the polarity box. Since the photons are moving away from each other at the speed of light something outside of space time (A nonlocal transfer) occurs, causing both photons to remain twins.
So how do these experiments tell us anything about human consciousness or the law of attraction? Well first, we identify that there is an effect called a nonlocal transfer. Since we are essentially light beings and we are made of the same matter as a photon we can then pose that this power is within all of us. The Faraday cage mind experiment points directly to this fact.
Furthermore, we can also point out that consciousness precedes all physical form and function because it happens outside of space time. Consciousness creates reality by collapsing any number of possibilities from a wave form into matter. When a person meditates or concentrates on something, they are sending out the energy signals to bring that thing into existence. But there is a double edged sword to this proposition because we also create reality unconsciously as well. It is a function of our nature. This is why many people say “Yeah I tried that law of attraction stuff but it didn’t work for me” when in reality it did exactly what they asked it to do ( or should I say, expected it to do). The mix-up occurs because of this “buffer of time” which we have to contend with. It may take the Universe days, weeks or years to manifest something you desire and only if you desire it badly enough. So when you are focused on a goal you can manifest it into reality but only after it has reached a critical mass point within you. Then and only then will it show up in the physical world.
In short, if your mind is resisting these concepts you can still change your mental outlook and start creating things you desire in your life but it takes commitment. When you meditate daily and build a foundation for your desires they will surely manifest for you. Although it may seem hard, it really is only a quantum leap away.

The age of Chaos October 25, 2006

Yesterday a nice young man came to my door. He proclaimed that he was handing out information as a “Public service announcement”; of course the material was from the church of LDS. It was certainly an entertaining read and I can see why so many people buy into this propaganda. Our desire to be a part of something bigger than ourselves will cause us to seek out answers in some very strange places. Many of us will place faith in something simply because someone else says that it is true. Traditions are handed down from one generation to the next and we believe them only because we don’t know any different.
In most of western culture we raise our children to believe in these traditions as truths when in reality they are nothing more than stories and tales which have no real meaning in today’s society. We view these stories as “good rules to live by” but are they really? If they are such good stories to live by then why is there death and destruction in every corner of the world? Most people can’t even tell you why they believe in something, they just simply believe it. It’s easy to think that there is a heaven awaiting us when we die. It’s easy to have blind faith because then we never have to accept the real truth that we all make the journey of death alone.
But as Richard Dawkins points out, isn’t it better to learn to accept the truth rather than to place false hope in something that doesn’t exist? We misinterpret the meaning of the word “Sin” because we believe that to “Sin” is to do something bad for which we will be punished for later on. When in fact to “Sin” is really to live a life without ever realizing that we are the divine creators of our own reality. And in being divine creators we have a responsibility to ourselves and all of humanity to be caring loving beings.
We do not need a book, scripture, or a false idol to tell us how to live our lives. Humans have survived for thousands of years because we have an inherent ability to work together for the good of everyone. The chaos we see in the world today is a direct reflection of our inability to see this truth. Humans, like chimpanzees and many other mammals have wonderful social networking skills. This is how we have survived this long on a planet which hasn’t always been this hospitable to us. To say that people are bad by nature couldn’t be further from the truth. We can work together as a collective and create things that help all of us get along better. Our greatest task now is to unravel over two thousand years of narrow mindedness. We are at the leading edge of a new evolution in humanity, one which we will either face and accept, or we will step backwards and many millions of people will lose their lives because we failed to take notice. This is our task as humans and whether you want to hear it or not doesn’t change the fact that it is true.
The shift to self awareness October 21, 2006

I have spent the past year studying, reading, watching and learning everything I can about quantum physics, metaphysics, religious teachings, atheism, spirituality, consciousness and anything else I can get my hands on in similar fields. I am not a scientist, preacher or scholar. I do not belong to any groups or organizations which promote any particular viewpoint about the world. I am a regular American citizen just like you. I do not consider myself an enlightened being or possibly even superior to anyone.
Over the past year my concern for the world state of affairs has set me on this path which I am now writing about. I have recently been in the process of studying the work of evolutionist, atheist & writer – Richard Dawkins. I will say first hand that I agree with Richard Dawkins emphatically when it comes to how our world and our species came about. Do not be quick to label me as an atheist however. As I said before, I am not aligned with any group or religion, or lack there of.
I think that to truly understand what science is telling us, we must make the effort to educate ourselves. Now I’m sure to most people studying monkeys or old fossils might seem boring and I would probably agree with you in that regard. But that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t at least make the attempt to continue learning and challenging your beliefs and assumptions. Doing so is actually very healthy.
My reasoning for talking about Mr. Dawkins is that I want everyone to understand that the transition from our current concepts about humanity and the world surely must continuously be challenged. However, the manor in which we engage in these discussions will most likely be touchy ground for the foreseeable future.
Many of us in the United States have been taught a base of Christian values from early childhood. Even those of us who do not or have not attended church still come from a Christian base without even knowing it. You can pick up any history book in any United States school and see that we measure history through past conquests which are mostly brought about because of religion. And I’m not just referring to Christianity either. Most religions have plundered history with crusades of one sort or the other. And today all of our children are being taught this stuff.
The turning point we all must face is that it will take individual effort from each one of us if we hope to survive as a race. This is certainly the age of reason. It is time to put down our old ideals about the world and start learning together. The first step in this process is through self awareness. Realizing our inner power to do better and be better as individuals and as a race is the key that will unlock the doors of hate, racism, greed, and other social problems. We do not need a religious icon or false ideal to see that in general people are good and that we can learn to live together without all the close minded constraints that we place on ourselves.
One way that we can start this transition is to be open minded about all theories, scientific research and provable ideas. We can debate without judgment or ridicule and open ourselves up to new ways of thinking. But we must first learn to control our own egos and the only way to achieve this is through self education. This may be an unheard cry to the masses but we have to start somewhere and I suggest we start today.
Quantum Physics tells us that the physical world is made up of endless possibilities and since we come from this Universe, we can also achieve great things if only we have the desire to do so. Your true potential is at your fingertips, all that is required is the desire to do something better for yourself. There are no limits except the ones you place upon your own life. Lack of money, time or experience are only excuses that hold you back from being the person you have always dreamed of being. We all have challenges in life and that should not be a reason to stop yourself from achieving a life of abundance. Only you can decide where you go tomorrow but it takes honest effort starting now.
